Britain witnesses sharp rise in COVID-19 cases

According to health minister Matt Hancock, the country is at a tipping point on COVID-19.

He has also warned that a second national lockdown could be imposed if people don’t follow government rules designed to stop the spread of the virus.

Earlier, Prime Minister Boris Johnson said that the UK is experiencing the start of a second wave of COVID-19 and stricter lockdown measures will be introduced across the country.

The UK currently has more than 3.94 lakh COVID-19 cases with a death toll over 41,700.
