Bommai on two-day Delhi visit from Tuesday

Bengaluru, April 4 : Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai will be on a two-day visit to New Delhi to meet the on Ministers, beginning Tuesday. Officer on Special Duty to CM, BP Channabasavesha said Bommai would fly to New Delhi post-noon tomorrow and meet on Ministers in the evening. “His return on Wednesday is open, not fixed,” he added. Bommai’s visit assumes importance with regards to on Home Minister Amit Shah’s visit to Karnataka last week and also Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin’s recent meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Stalin had requested Modi not to ratify the Mekedatu project. The Opposition Congress had launched a padayatra on early implementation of Mekedatu project by the BJP government.
