The life and philosophy of Mahatma Gandhi was celebrated by performing Dandi Yatra. Participants in huge number took part in the Yatra which was made vibrant by young students and their enthusiasm.A stall featuring books of Publications Division at the Book Fair on the 150 Years of the Mahatama Gandhi has been one of the major attractions this year.
Speaking at the occasion the Consul General of India in Frankfurt Pratibha Parkar said that the whole world is celebrating the 150th Birth anniversary of Gandhiji to re-emphasize his message of truth and non violence.
She also distributed away the prizes to the students who participated in the event.
The event concluded with the pledge by participants to follow the path shown by Bapu to make the world a better place.
