Ayush Sharma Receives Threatening Email Demanding Ransom

Mumbai, February 12: The film industry is facing an alarming rise in threats from criminals. Following a shooting incident at Rohit Shetty’s residence and threats directed at Ranveer Singh, Ayush Sharma, the brother-in-law of Salman Khan, has now received a threatening email. The sender claims to be a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang and has demanded a ransom amounting to crores of rupees.

According to officials from the Mumbai Crime Branch, the threat was sent via ProtonMail, a secure and anonymous email service. The email contains a clear warning of potential harm if the ransom is not paid. However, neither Salman Khan nor Ayush Sharma has filed a formal complaint with the police as of yet.

The sender has also asserted their affiliation with the Bishnoi gang. The police are currently on high alert and are closely monitoring the situation.

Sources within the police have stated that they are taking this matter very seriously and are exercising caution. An investigation has already commenced. Information received by the Crime Branch indicates that mobile locations of some suspects linked to the Bishnoi gang have been traced near the residences of several Bollywood celebrities. The gang has reportedly assigned various operatives to conduct reconnaissance. The police are gathering all available leads to advance their investigation.

This incident comes just days after the shooting outside Rohit Shetty’s home. Salman Khan has been facing threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang for some time now, which has also claimed responsibility for the shooting outside his residence in Panvel. Now, Ayush Sharma, a close family member, has become a target for extortion.

Authorities believe that these threats are primarily aimed at extortion. The Mumbai police and Crime Branch teams are actively engaged in the investigation.
