Appeals pour in to respect SC’s verdict on Ayodhya case 

Temperatures are stirring ahead of SC verdict on Ayodhya land dispute case..On Wednesday, Jamiat ulema e Hind, a prominent Muslim group appealed that SC’s verdict, whatsoever will be acceptable to the community. The group also appealed to the Muslims to accept the SC verdict without any inhibitions.

To reach out to and iron out any skepticism by the Muslim community, prominent leaders of RSS n BJP held a meeting with maulvis and other muslim intellectuals on Tuesday. The meeting was held at the residence of minority affairs minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi  and was attended by RSS leader Krishna gopal and Ramlal, Former Union minister Shahnawaz Hussain,Mahmood Madani, general Secretary,  jamiat ulema e Hind, kalbe Javed, Shia religious leader and eminent film maker Muzzaffar Ali along with many other prominent muslim clerics. The meeting emphasised on maintaining social harmony and unity. The participants agreed that brotherhood and unity will be maintained at all costs.

Since, Chief justice of India, Ranjan Gogoi will retire on 17 November, the SC verdict in the sensitive Ayodhya land dispute case is expected before this date. CJI is heading the bench hearing the case.

Meanwhile, Faizabad Police has deployed 16000 volunteers to keep a tab on objectionable content on social media.

Keeping  a check on possible loopholes,Police are fully prepared to deal with any terrorist attack, communal riots, public outrage and any threat at the disputed site. State administration has strictly prohibited any programes marking any kind of celebration or mourning on the SC verdict, also,fearing any disruption in peace and calm after the verdict this prohibition by the state administration has been extended till 28 March.
