New Delhi : After the names of five Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leaders appeared in the hit list of the banned organisation Popular Front of India (PFI), the central government has given them Y category security. All these Sangh leaders are from Kerala.
Intelligence agencies had received information that five Sangh leaders from Kerala are on the target of PFI. Sensing the possible danger on the basis of this information, the central government has provided them security. According to sources, the Ministry of Home Affairs has accorded Y-category security to the five leaders.
Reportedly, raids were conducted on the premises of PFI member Mohammad Bashir on September 22. During the raids, the National Investigation Agency found a list in which a plan to assassinate five RSS leaders from Kerala was mentioned.
Based on the information of the investigating agency, the union Home Ministry decided to provide Y category security to the mentioned five RSS leaders in Kerala.
